After several months of loitering in the Square Peg on Corporation Street, we’ve taken advice from fellow skeptic Matt Gale and though we’d try the Old Contemptibles for the June social. It’s an amazing pub on Edmund Street in the city centre, right by Snow Hill station. If you’ve never been before you’re in for a treat – it’s a stunning pub and is a bit keen on its cask ales, which I know some of the Brum Skeptics are too. They also do some rather nice ciders, have decent gin and soft drinks too, so something for everyone.

As usual it’s an informal meet up – no speaker, just a bunch of skeptics have a nice chat over some nice drinks. If you’re burning to test out your new found psychic abilities, want to discuss the upcoming talk or just need an excuse to get out of the house then this is the meet-up for you!
